The Call Committee is excited to share some wonderful news — we have selected a Primary Candidate for the role of Pastor!

Following are the three dates to save on your calendar:

Sunday, September 21st, immediately following worship, is your opportunity to meet the concdidate. After much prayerful discussion and discernment, we believe God is leading this person to serve with us at Mount Zion. During this Meet & Greet, you'll have the opportunity to hear directly from the candidate and ask any questions you may have. For those who prefer to join remotely, a Zoom invitation will be sent out the week prior to the meeting.

Sunday September 28th - we’ll get your feedback from the Meet & Greet and vote whether to move ahead with the Primary Candidate. If it is yes, the Call Committee will recommend to the council that we call the candidate. 

Sunday, October 5th a Congregational Call Meeting is set for Mount Zion members to vote, to approve the  Call Candidate. 

We trust that God is guiding this journey for both Mount Zion and the candidate, and we ask that you continue to keep this process in your prayers — that God’s will be done.
